This is why it is important to highlight the highs and lows of our cultural identities, from the celebrations to the race-based trauma we might experience as people of color.
Individuals often have positive experiences in therapy when they feel they can identify with their therapist. Being able to speak comfortably in your native language can help facilitate your growth and healing. It is my goal to work collaboratively with you to process those thoughts and feelings either in English or Spanish.
